and Web consultancy services, training, and produce the
very successful annual Australasian Online Documentation and Content (AODC) Conference,
now in its eleventh year.
The AODC Conference is organised in conjunction with WritersUA Software User
Assistance Conference. This year's AODC was held from 20th to 22nd May, in
Melbourne. AODC 2010 will be in Darwin in Australia's Northern Territory.
HyperWrite's three areas of business are specialised
consultancy,

Serna Goes Open Source (Fri, 03 Jul 2009)
Syntext has announced the release of Serna Free Open Source XML Editor. Serna is a feature-rich but easy-to-use WYSIWOO XML editor based on open standards, which works on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, and Sun Solaris/SPARC. Serna Enterprise remains a commercial product. The Enterprise version has additional importing (drag and drop) features, better conref and cross-reference support, has a configurable interface, and integrates with publishing tools.

Author-it Software Corporation have announced the release of Author-it version 5.3. This latest version includes performance improvements, new Web Help publishing templates, and new and improved dictionaries. Version 5.3 also takes some more steps into structured authoring support, adding more fine grained control of topic structures and introducing book structures. Upgrades to Author-it 5.3 are free with a current maintenance plan.
